The North Davidson Junior Knights Football and Cheer organization is excited to participate in the Rowan-Salisbury Youth Football League for the 2025 season.
Why a new league?
Prior to the 2024-25 season, the NDJK organization elected to leave the Davidson County Youth Football League. The decision to do so was done with the support of parents and athletes involved with the organization. With their support, the NDJK board sought to expose young athletes to new and diverse competition outside of Davidson County to prepare them for high levels of playing in the future. The NDJK participated in the Piedmont Youth Football League for the 2024-25 season and while it was a great learning experience for our coaches, parents and athletes, we ultimately decided it was not the right league for us long term. Knowing this, we immediately sought out other opportunities for NDJK for the 2025 season. We reviewed several leagues bordering Davidson County and even participated in a trial game with the RSYFL at the end of last season. After further consideration by our organization and the RSYFL, we accepted the invitation to join the RSYFL in 2025.

- Adjacent to Davidson County: Longest driving distance for a game is to West Rowan High School, 44 minutes/33.7 miles from North Davidson High School. In Davidson County Youth Football league, the longest driving distances are to South Davidson High School, 31 minutes/23.4 miles from North Davidson High School and Denton Elementary School, 38 minutes/24.9 miles
- High school/middle school facilities, fields and officials
- Weight restrictions for running the football
- Age/Grade divisions similar to DCYFL divisions
- No markers or spotters needed for game day, no book check
- Up to 2 Home games at North Davidson High School
- Gate Costs: Home Game Gate Cost: $5 Adults, Kids 8 and under free (set by North Davidson Junior Knights). Away Game Gate Cost: $8 Adult, $5 School Age Kids (Set by host field)
- Playoff and Superbowl Championship opportunities
- MVP Player of the Game awarded at every game
